Many circumstances can lead to food insecurity, and more people of all ages—including students, the working poor, single-parent families, and the elderly—are susceptible to chronic hunger. Koret support is directed toward addressing increased food insecurity and its root causes. Alleviating hunger was of particular personal importance to Joseph Koret. As such, it is one of the Foundation’s longest-standing initiatives.
