“Survive the Storm”: The Tech’s 36th Annual Tech Challenge
Every year, The Tech Interactive holds a youth engineering design program geared towards solving real-world problems. This year’s challenge invited students to tackle severe weather events by designing structures that could protect vulnerable objects from high winds.
Teams of students in grades 4 through 12 spent months collaborating, creating a solution, and perfecting their designs. As a leader in Design Challenge Learning, The Tech believes in the power of hands-on learning experiences to inspire young people to learn and gain confidence in science, technology, and engineering.
The Tech Interactive seeks to develop the next generation of problem-solvers through immersive STEAM education resources, including their world class science and technology center in Silicon Valley. The center invites visitors to engage with hands-on activities, exploratory labs and design challenge experiences, and interactive exhibits on climate change, robotics, cybersecurity and more.
