Koret President Dr. Anita Friedman honored with Light Unto the Nations Award
Koret President and Jewish Family and Children’s Services executive director Dr. Anita Friedman was presented with the Light Unto the Nations Award at AJC’s Global Advocacy Gala. Sam Salkin, who serves as executive director of Sinai Memorial Chapel, was given the Civic Leadership Award.
“They are among the great pillars of our community,” Rabbi Serena Eisenberg, regional director of AJC’s S.F. chapter, said of the two honorees, “and their work exemplifies acting locally but also having impact globally.”
