Koret-sponsored researchers discover drastic Hellenistic-era sea level change in ancient Israel

Marine archaeology researchers at the universities of Haifa and California, San Diego have discovered that sea levels in Israel rose 2 meters during the Hellenistic period. The drastic change resulted in loss of infrastructure that may give a window into the future effects of climate change, reports the Jerusalem Post.
