Elaine Lai, Controller
Elaine Lai oversees Koret's financial operations, including preparation of financial reports, budgets, investment, and government reports. Her duties also include office management and human resources.
Elaine began her career at Koret in 1996 as an accounting and administrative manager with more than 10 years of experience in the public accounting and tax fields. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she moved to San Francisco after completing high school and graduated with honors from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in accounting. Elaine is an active member of several Bay Area Asian professional groups and is an active volunteer in supporting Asian elderly, immigrants, and low-income nonprofit organizations.
